Description
ADVENTURER'S JOURNAL FOR OBSERVING, DRAWING AND KEEPING TRACK OF DISCOVERIES
The Beaudoudou Adventurer's Journal guides the child through their observations: they look, describe, draw, stick in a photo and keep a record of their discoveries.
A guided journal of 40 pages, designed to encourage curiosity, independence and the desire to explore away from screens.
WHY CHILDREN LOVE FILLING OUT THIS JOURNAL
A real adventurer's role: the child becomes an active participant in their discoveries.
A screen-free activity: observe, write, draw and handle.
Guided pages: each discovery follows a simple structure.
A keepsake to treasure: the journal becomes a record of their explorations.
An official certificate: a symbolic reward to celebrate their efforts.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
🔎 1. I observe: the child chooses an object, a leaf, a texture or a little find.
📍 2. I note: they record the observed object, the location and the date.
✏️ 3. I draw: they illustrate what they see in their own words and with their own drawings.
📷 4. I keep a record: they can stick in a photo and share their thoughts on the discovery.
A SIMPLE AND COMPLETE OBSERVATION SHEET
Each page guides the child with clear prompts, helping them organize their discoveries without feeling lost.
Object & location: what is observed, where and when.
Observation: a section to describe what they see.
Drawing: a space to illustrate the discovery.
Review & rating: the child expresses how they feel.
Photo: a place to stick a keepsake image.

Can the journal be used without a microscope?
